Joseph Sarosy lives in Northern New Mexico with his daughter, his partner Silke Rose West, Flora the dog, and 22 chickens.

Joe and Silke (silk-uh) are the co-authors of How to Tell Stories to Children, published in 21 languages. Together they teach, mentor, and guide children and parents in a variety of ways - ranging from daily classes, girls’ groups (Silke), men’s groups (Joe), seasonal holidays and events, forest kindergarten teacher trainings, wilderness encounters, farm and craft immersions, song circles, storytelling events, and more.

Joe is a freelance writer for Fatherly and is currently working on a second book.
